Pure Academy of Aesthetics Limited has launched an academy of aesthetics in Dar es Salaam where various courses on beauty will be offered.

The academy which is located at Upanga in the City would of its kind in the East Africa zone and would be operational on August this year

The academy was launched yesterday in the City by Gender Coordinator in the Ministry of Education and Vocation Studies, Winfrida Rutahindurwa who commended the company for establishing such college in the country since it would create more employment opportunity.

“This is a good initiative toward creating employment opportunity in our society, I would like to take thing opportunity to commend all of you for this brilliant idea,” she said.

She said the government would support the academy urging youth to enroll and take various.

Yasmin Shariff a founder of the academy said that the academy would offer Aesthetics Education in Hair Styling, Make up and Skin care, a concept that will bring both beauty and education together.

She said in mind the global interest in beauty and styling and a prospective career path for innumerable Tanzanians seeking this education, Pure is a new hope for potential students with promising careers on the horizon.

On his part Yasim said “My vision was larger in mind, along side a beauty salon and spa I wished to open an academy that will facilitate better prospects in Tanzania. There were limitations for students interested in this field with no easy access to this beautiful education within the country, however things have changed now & Pure has arrived to make this possible and contribute in a big way to dynamic careers!”

She noted students will have access to a superior and top-notch education at an extremely affordable price in the country itself in comparison to going abroad. She has roped in expert teachers & professionals from the US and Canada and has created an international approach for the students in the country. The idea in bringing international expertise was to create a broader spectrum of knowledge on an international level and this will give the students enhanced global insight into the business of aesthetics & augment the scope of learning.
